This place is life saving! I have been coming to Alamo Heights Wellness for a few years now and Dr Lew and her staff are absolute rockstars. As someone who doesn’t trust traditional medicine and doctors very much, coming to this practice and trying a different approach to my many ailments has been such a blessing. They have always made me feel very safe, seen, and understood during my visits. I cannot recommend Alamo Heights Wellness enough, Dr. Lew and her team are absolutely incredible. I can truly say Dr. Lew changed my life, she is a true healer and has a genuine gift. Dr. Burnikel is an amazing acupuncturist and is extremely knowledgable about supplements. Dr. Lew and her incredible Team of Doctors and staff have given me my life back. After being in remission for over a year from IC (Painful Bladder Syndrome) I experienced an extremely painful flareup. Anyone with this uncurable condition understands the lack of science and study behind it and how frustrating it can be to find relief. So after 4 bladder installations and urinary meds did not releive my pain I was so desperate to find relief elsewhere. Thats when I found Dr. Lew and her amazing Team! From the first call inquiring about their services to my most recent appointment they always treated me with compassion making me feel welcomed and like they truly cared about me and my health. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Lew. She’s perfection in every way.
I’ve seen a huge improvement in my mind, body and spirit since I’ve been getting treatments. My sweating problem has improved drastically and my menstrual cramps have also improved. My over all depression and anxiety has also immensely improved; it’s shocking. I will definitely be saving up for more treatments for me and my family, as my mother loved her experience here as well. Nothing happens overnight and you’ve got to be able to put in the work.

I called Alamo Heights Wellness to observe some of their treatments for a college class, and I’m so glad I did! Dr. Lew is one of the brightest and most caring doctors I’ve ever met. She is an owner, a manager, and a practitioner at this office and still finds the time to make each patient feel special and looked after. In the short time that I was there, I got to see how she has used her knowledge to increased her patients’ quality of life with the use of TCM, Ayurvedic medicine, and homeopathic medicine. Dr. Patricia Lew has impacted my life/temple so much, I will not go to anyone else. Her knowledge and care is why I am healing. In a nutshell, my right side of by body (from my Morton’s toe, to achilles, to top part of my ankle, tibia, knee, gracilis, hip&leg joint, forearm, middle finger, elbow, trap and upper back, to my upper neck going into my head (whew)) I played sports my entire life and at the collegiate level. Never had I tweaked anything so bad till my 30’s, I am 33 now, and I wish I would’ve started acupuncture a LONG time ago. Especially here.
Going to her only 5x, has truly made me fall in love with integrative medicine, MORE than I already am with it and the Earth and the human body, and how well we go together, is truly astonishing. More like belong together. She has helped me so much, I will never go to anyone else for healing (unless I need surgery BUT hopefully not)💚🙏♾️ Thank God for her and her team. I have been going to Alamo Heights Wellness since December of 2018 and have only excellent experiences to report. Dr. Patricia Liu has been a wonderful person to work with. She is always concerned and attentive to my needs and does whatever possible to make me the most comfortable and to relieve any problems that I have. I love the warm homey atmosphere of the office and all of her staff have been extremely welcoming and make me feel very comfortable there. Since the recent outbreak they have instituted many more protocols for patients safety. I have only good things to report from my experiences over the past 20 months.
